Supply chain start-up in the spotlight: Flowlity

Flowlity

Flowlity was founded in Paris, France, in 2018, with the aim of building intelligent yet straightforward and low-cost supply chain software that delivered real results by streamlining material flows. The result is an inventory optimization (management and replenishment) and supply chain planning solution that enables companies to reduce their inventory by as much as half.

The user-friendly software as a service (SaaS) of the French start-up includes a simple and intuitive app to visualize recommendations and enabling customers to modify their supply plans. The AI-powered pay-as-you-go solution uses machine learning algorithms to analyse not only the user’s own data but also the data from their suppliers and customers, simulating millions of possibilities to arrive at the best plan possible.

The Flowlity solution is integrated with existing IT systems (ERP, Excel, databases) for data collection, but users can choose what they want to share with suppliers and customers. The system’s real-time inventory and replenishment recommendations result in a streamlined flow of materials within Flowlity’s trusted third-party network for a truly connected supply chain. The benefits include significant reductions in inventories, replenishment costs and shortages.
