Working Wisdom: quote about customers

Bill Gates

Bill Gates once said: “Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning.”

William (‘Bill’) Henry Gates III (born 28 October 1955) is an American entrepreneur best known as the principal founder of Microsoft Corporation, which he launched together with Paul Allen in 1975. As CEO, Bill Gates led the company to immense success as it became the biggest PC software company in the world. When he stepped down in 2000, he and his wife set up the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation which aims to enhance healthcare and reduce extreme poverty globally. This quote is taken from his book Business @ the speed of thought (1999), and it has become even more relevant today in this era of digitalization and Supply Chain 4.0 focused on performance and customer satisfaction.
