What you’ll do on a typical day

Working on executing the global and local marketing plan working closely with the business. Managing all external and internal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and roll out the execution of the events and exhibitions plan including tradeshows, conference participation, industry sector exhibitions, and dedicated customer events. Control the execution of the event and analyze its ROI.
  • Coordinate and roll out the creation of Marketing promotional materials on line and off line in collaboration with the Design Manager Europe.
  • Contributing to shaping and implementing the internal communications strategy inline with business strategy.
  • Providing strategic and tactical internal communication counsel and support to designated business stakeholders as a business partner.
  • Creating clear and measurable internal communication messages and plans.
  • Writing and developing communications materials as needed.
  • Managing the internal communications channels and feedback infrastructure, ensuring they are regularly updated with a steady flow of engaging and motivating content
  • Consider governance and measurement tools (dashboards, training tools, employee surveys, internal communications calendar etc) and facilitate creation and implementation for relevant tools and practices
  • Measuring channels and feedback loops to ensure they are fit for purpose and support business needs, and inkeeping with latest trends and tech advances
  • Develop thoughtful content marketing campaigns including e marketing initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of pan European Marketing and communication initiatives such as the Tour de France and pan European campaigns.
  • Support XPO corporate communication team to collect inputs from the countries for dissemination via press releases, social media and corporate website.
  • Support XPO corporate communication team to manage corporate website updates on a quarterly basis (website monitoring, review and translations).

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • Bachelor’s or master degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years professional experience.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of the French language is a plus.
  • Ability to deal with complex, short-time frame solutions.
