On March 9th 2017, the Supply Chain Battle will take place at Tilburg University. The first edition, last year, was successfully received by both students and companies. The participating companies of the last edition were so satisfied that they all are collaborating with Asset | Strategy & Logistics this year again in some manner.

The Supply Chain Battle consists of 3 to 4 participating companies who all get teams of students, with a maximum of 30 participants. The participating companies will give the teams an extensive case with a competitive element, which students need to solve and present the solution to the best of their abilities. The Supply Chain Battle stands out from other formal events due to the fact that companies will get the opportunity to go in-depth with highly talented supply chain students and have an in-depth case. This opportunity results from the fact that the case round is 3 hours, with a break in between. In this break all the companies will get a chance to present themselves. Therefore, companies can reach all the participating students with their company profile.

After the case rounds have finished, the recruiters of the companies will assign a winning team of the case. With the other winning teams, a networking dinner with all the companies and winning teams will take place. For all the other teams, an informal drink will be organized.
