Advanced Supply Chain conference

Thursday | 26 September 2019

This event already took place

How will modern technologies affect the work of logistics managers, and how will they change the processes taking place in all parts of the supply chain? During this year’s edition of the Advanced Supply Chain conference, the answers to these questions will be explored. Different keynote-speakers will talk about their experiences on a bumpy road to digital supply and production chains.

This years’ edition of the Advanced Supply Chain conference will combine the tradition of the international Advanced Supply Chain logistics conference and the international science conference Euro-Trans. During two days in two different places, but in one city, the conference will combine the world of practice with the world of science at the highest intellectual level. The conference reflects the situation that supply chain managers experience on a daily basis. The growing expectations of customers mobilize producers, trading companies, logistics operators and carriers to rebuild supply chains, optimize processes, develop digitization and innovative solutions. In the face of the lack of hands for work, the implementation of the achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution may be a necessary process to be carried out faster than it seems to anyone. Industry 4.0 has ceased to be an encyclopedic slogan – this is already happening.
