Detailed shipment information on mobile devices

International logistics service supplier C.H. Robinson, originally from the USA, has developed a mobile app which extends the reach of its Navisphere platform. By searching for shipments by collection or delivery date, container number, customer reference number or C.H. Robinson load number, users can now access detailed information using their Apple or Android-based mobile devices.

The Navisphere app offers users a new way of staying connected and keeping informed about all their shipments, without them having to be sat behind their computers or on the phone to their customer representative. “Supply chains are constantly in motion,” says Tom Mahlke, chief information officer at C.H. Robinson in the press release, “So having continuous visibility to each movement is a requirement for logistics professionals.”

C.H. Robinson was established as a family business by Charles Henry Robinson in the USA in 1905. What started out as a company trading in fruit and vegetables evolved into one of the world’s largest logistics service suppliers. C.H. Robinson Europe was set up as a subsidiary of C.H. Robinson Worldwide in 1993.

The Navisphere customer app can be downloaded for free at the Apple  App Store on iTunes, Google  Play and Amazon  Marketplace.
